Community Advisory Board (CAB)

The Community Advisory Board (CAB) is an independent group of individuals who reside in and around the areas we operate in and work in the various community-based organisations.

The PHRU has four CABs across the Matlosana and Soweto sites. The Soweto site has an adult CAB and an adolescent CAB (ACAB), better known as Youth Talk.

The adult CAB is made up of individuals aged 25 and above, and represents traditional healers, pastors, clinics, and men’s and women’s organisations, while the ACAB is made up of teenagers and young adults aged 13 to 24 years.

They also come from various youth organisations, schools, colleges and universities.
